Yup, new scoop on the 50th, courtesy of Jim Hill, as usual!
That new look for Rapunzel is so much better! I really wasn't all that fond of the first design that's been floating around. I hope she'll turn out to be more like this. And is it just me or does she look a bit more like Kristin Chenoweth? ... yeah, that's probably just me
This Rapunzel is out of the tower and heading for adventure by the end of Act One. (This) story is more about what happens when she leaves the tower Byron says. The moral of the story, really, is that you cant live your life in a tower. Its about experiencing the world and living your life. Even though our heroine is physically out of the tower, mentally its difficult for her to completely leave it behind. Shes like an indoor cat that gets out of the house; its really hard getting the cat back in. Its great to have a character who is so innocent and so smart. And its even better to see her wake up.
Well, that's an interesting twist, I guess. I suppose it is hard to make a story about a character who spends most of the time inside a tower, so I can't really imagine a much better story. Apparently, Glen Keane's idea was more teen-pop romance oriented, and - as much as I love the guy - THAT I can live without.
Anyone else excited?

'Dyin? Not at all,' said Sirius. 'Quicker and easier than falling asleep.'
